OUR ADVOCACY WORK
In 2021, Take a Tampon @UKY contacted Kentucky State Legislators to advocate for legislation surrounding the provision of menstrual hygiene products at schools. Take a Tampon @UKY also met with Kentucky State Senators to advocate for SB 277, a bill regarding the provision of menstrual hygiene products on school campuses.

Take a Tampon @UKY hopes to continue to advocate for policies to fight period poverty in Kentucky and the United States.
